In short, we think this ending is a reminder that there is a cycle of life that has to be completed, and that cycle includes death. As a player, you'll be able to continue to game. After removing the crystal, The Grove tells Concord it will die.Īfter The Grove's death, Concord will be able to wake up in The Kindergarten and chat with old friends. However, this crystal caused the balance of The Grove to be off, and The Rot became angry because it could not do its job and consume the dying Grove. This is a life-giving crystal The Grove held onto in order to ensure immortality and/or continued life. This will separate the Mana Crystal from The Grove. At the end of Garden Story, Guardian Concord will fight and defeat The Grove's Clutch.
